You received an email that really DID come from my Champlain account.
It appeared that I forwarded a message from Ryan, but that is actually a fake email!
In real life, trusted accounts can forward malicious emails, obscuring the original sender's identity.
The login link led to a fake .xyz domain, designed just to look like your Canvas login.

Don't be embarrassed! This is just to show that NO ONE is immune to social engineering. All it takes is one person quickly forwarding an email
